Milk,eggs

• To tell if an egg is fresh or old, put it in salted water. A fresh egg will sink in water, an older one will float.
  

• Before breaking an egg,wash it.It can have microbes on it.
  

• If you can't remember if an egg is fresh or hard boiled, just spin it. If the egg wobbles, it's raw. If it spins easily, it's hard boiled.
  

• Put hard boiled or scrambled eggs to cold water at once,it will be easier to remove an eggshell.
  

• Take into consideration that your bowl has to be free from any trace of fat before whisking egg whites; otherwise the whites won't whisk very well.
