Ukrainian borscht

1 lb beef
2 beets
1 cabbage(appx 1 lb)
3 potatoes
2 carrots,parsley root
1 -2 onions
2 cloves of garlic
tomato-puree or fresh tomatoes
1 tbsp flour
vinegar,sour-cream
fresh parsley,black pepper,bay leaves

Boil meat till it's done.
Grind beets,put them in a pan,sprinkle with vinegar,add some broth,tomato-puree and saute till half done.
Combine chopped onion,carrots and parsley root and saute them also.
Brown flour on a pan,don't overburn it.
Put cut potatoes to the broth ,bring to boil,cut cabbage and boil for 10-15 minutes.Then add sauteed
vegetables,flour,pepper and spices.Simmer everything for 5-10 minutes.
When ready,swithch off the oven,add green parsley and smashed garlic.
Add some sour-cream while serving.
